Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Manish Sikka as Managing Director. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its product and service portfolio—including offerings leveraging digital technologies—and to enter new markets both in India and abroad.
In a statement, Sikka said that Hitachi Lift India will focus on manufacturing in India for both domestic and overseas markets, while continuing to prioritise product safety, ride quality and aesthetics.
Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., specialising in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of lifts and escalators. The company serves commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors in India and also exports to select global markets.
