Cyient Semiconductors has entered into a strategic partnership with Anora to expand turnkey test and validation solutions for semiconductor product development. As part of the collaboration, the companies will set up a semiconductor validation and production test floor in Bangalore, India, with clean room capabilities and equipment for volume production.

The Bangalore facility will include probers, engineering and production handlers, multiple automated test equipment platforms, thermal solutions, and tools required for device and package qualification. This expands on Anora’s existing clean room facility with production equipment in Allen, Texas, USA. The combined setup is intended to support customers in validating silicon, moving into production, and scaling to high-volume manufacturing.

The partnership will also integrate Cyient’s expertise in architecture, design, and silicon development with Anora’s capabilities in test, testability, and validation. The companies said the collaboration aims to reduce inefficiencies and delays by providing an end-to-end solution across the semiconductor value chain.

“This partnership is about creating a complete solution for the semiconductor industry. By integrating Cyient’s design and silicon capabilities with our strengths in post-silicon validation and test, we can empower customers to move faster, reduce risk, and achieve production readiness with confidence,” said Hari Chandran, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Anora.

“Semiconductor companies are looking for fewer hand-offs and more integrated partners. Our collaboration with Anora addresses exactly that need, offering customers a one-stop hub from concept to final silicon. By investing in world-class validation and test infrastructure in Bangalore, we are positioning India as a critical player in the global semiconductor ecosystem while supporting the vision of the India Semiconductor Mission,” said Suman Narayan, CEO of Cyient Semiconductors.

Cyient Semiconductors is headquartered in Hyderabad and provides custom ASIC/ASSP solutions with a focus on analogue mixed-signal, intelligent power, and advanced semiconductor platforms. The company has design centres in India, Belgium, and the United States, serving customers in data centres, robotics, automotive, and industrial automation.

Anora, founded in 2008 and based in Texas, specialises in semiconductor test and validation services. It has completed over 2,800 projects for more than 50 global customers, covering design-for-test, post-silicon validation, production test, PCB design and manufacturing, functional testing, and automation.
