Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited, an aerospace engineering and precision manufacturing company, has received an order worth INR 350 million from an overseas customer for the manufacture and supply of ground support equipment. The company disclosed the development in a filing with the BSE and the National Stock Exchange on 27 October 2025.
According to its filing with the stock exchanges, the order has been placed by an international entity and is expected to be executed within five to twelve months. The company stated that the contract involves the manufacture and supply of specialised ground support equipment for the aerospace segment.
Earlier this month, Unimech Aerospace announced the commissioning of two new manufacturing facilities at the KIADB Aerospace Park in Bengaluru, Karnataka. According to its stock exchange filing dated 20 October 2025, the company has inaugurated a 33,000 sq. ft. precision engineering unit (Unit 3) and a 30,000 sq. ft. fabrication unit (Unit 4). With these additions, Unimech’s total manufacturing footprint has expanded to approximately 243,000 sq. ft.
The company stated that Unit 3 will manufacture high-precision components and systems for the nuclear, aerospace, and oil and gas sectors, while Unit 4 will focus on the fabrication of engine stands for LEAP engines and other aero-engine programmes, as well as self-elevating platforms for the domestic nuclear segment.
Unimech Aerospace reported an order book of about INR 810 million as of the first quarter of FY26. The company’s management has indicated plans to secure additional long-term agreements and new orders in the range of INR 4 billion to INR 5 billion by the end of FY26, primarily in aerospace tooling, precision components, and domestic nuclear projects.
The company, which listed on the stock exchanges in December 2024, raised INR 5 billion through its initial public offering, including INR 2.5 billion as a fresh issue. The proceeds were earmarked for capacity expansion, working capital, and capital expenditure.
