AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies is setting up a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Test Benches in Bengaluru, dedicated to supporting MBDA’s test solution requirements. The COE will be located at AXISCADES’ new facility in Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport.
AXISCADES has been working with MBDA on test bench solutions since 2018, delivering multiple generations of test solutions for MICA missiles and missile launchers. The company has been engaged as MBDA’s Indian Offset Partner for the past decade, supporting compliance with the Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP) 2016.
The new COE will house a test bench laboratory, equipment, instruments, and storage facilities, as well as trained personnel. The facility, spanning 42,000 square feet on a single floor, will enable simultaneous design, development, and production of multiple test benches to meet MBDA’s global requirements.
According to AXISCADES, the COE will support various missile platforms beyond MICA and will focus on maintaining schedule, quality, and cost optimization in test bench production.
