Maiden Forgings Limited, a manufacturer of steel and metal forgings, has been registered as a supplier with the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) for guns and shell factory items under the Centralised Vendor Registration process.
The registration enables Maiden Forgings to supply components and products for defence manufacturing to OFB units across India. The move aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the defence and heavy engineering sectors.
The company stated that the registration is part of its efforts to diversify its customer base and enter high-value manufacturing segments requiring advanced forging capabilities. The OFB supplier accreditation process is managed under the Ministry of Defence and is aimed at standardising vendor approvals for critical defence components.
Maiden Forgings Limited manufactures stainless steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel forgings, catering to industries including automotive, defence, oil and gas, and heavy engineering. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
