Syrma SGS Technology Limited, an electronic systems design and manufacturing company, has begun construction of a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing facility at the Naidupeta Industrial Zone in Andhra Pradesh. The project is being developed by the company’s subsidiary Syrma Strategic Electronics Pvt. Ltd. and expands its domestic production footprint for PCB technologies.

The facility is planned to produce single-layer and multi-layer PCBs for use in the company’s electronics manufacturing services and original equipment manufacturing operations. The project includes a joint venture structure with South Korea-based Shinhyup Electronics (SH Electronics Ltd.) and is expected to generate more than 1,000 direct jobs at the site.

“We plan to build advanced PCB capability with strong local talent and the support of our partnership with Shinhyup Electronics,” said J S Gujral, Managing Director of Syrma SGS. “This plant reflects our commitment to expanding high-precision electronics manufacturing.”

The company stated that the facility will integrate engineering expertise from the joint venture partner to strengthen process capability and support long-term expansion in electronics production. Construction work has commenced in line with the company’s broader manufacturing growth strategy.

The plant is positioned to strengthen PCB engineering and process capabilities by combining local manufacturing capacity with technical expertise from the joint venture partner. Construction activity has commenced and forms part of a broader expansion strategy aimed at building advanced electronics production infrastructure.

Syrma SGS reported consolidated revenue of approximately INR 38.39 billion for the financial year 2025 and operates multiple manufacturing units across India along with research and development centres in India and Germany.
