Trusted Aerospace Engineering (TASE Global), a Chennai-headquartered precision manufacturing company, has inaugurated a new advanced machining facility for aerostructure and industrial components at Sriperumbudur near Chennai, marking a significant expansion of its aerospace manufacturing capabilities. The facility represents an investment of INR 1.5 billion and is expected to support export-focused production for global aerospace and industrial customers.

The new plant was inaugurated on Thursday by Masahiko Mori, President of DMG MORI Co. Ltd, TASE Global’s Japanese technical partner. The facility forms part of a multi-phase expansion programme aimed at addressing rising demand from international aerospace, semiconductor, and industrial equipment markets.

The Sriperumbudur unit will initially focus on aerostructure manufacturing, with the capability to machine large and complex structural components used in civil and defence aircraft programmes. In addition to aerostructure components, the plant will support the manufacture of aero engine parts and precision medical components for export markets, expanding the scope of products produced at the site.

The new Indian facility is designed around 30 advanced high-precision machine tools supplied under a technology partnership with DMG MORI. The machines are configured for automated operations and are capable of handling large components, with current machining capacity designed for bed lengths of up to four metres and provision for expansion to eight metres as capacity requirements increase.

The company has already begun executing aerospace orders and is working with Tier 1 suppliers associated with Dassault Aviation and Boeing, with initial projects linked to Dassault programmes. The facility is also pursuing additional certifications required to undertake work for Airbus and other global original equipment manufacturers as customer approvals progress.

Alongside the aerostructures plant, TASE Global outlined further capital expenditure of INR 1.0 billion over the next year. Of this, INR 400 million is being invested in a 30,000 square foot surface treatment facility incorporating a zero liquid discharge system, which is expected to become operational by April 2026. A further INR 600 million is earmarked for a semiconductor-focused unit, including a cleanroom and specialised machining equipment, targeted to commence operations by December 2026.

The semiconductor facility will cater to front-end semiconductor equipment manufacturers, supplying precision-engineered metal systems and sub-systems used in wafer fabrication tools. The company said this diversification builds on its existing precision manufacturing capabilities while expanding its presence in adjacent high-growth sectors.

At the inauguration, Chairman Sankaranarayanan Vaidyanathan said the new plant would primarily serve export markets, with Europe emerging as a key focus region. He added that the Sriperumbudur facility alone is expected to generate revenues of up to INR 3.0 billion over the next three years, largely from European customers.

The new facility is expected to generate employment for around 250 people once fully ramped up. TASE Global reported revenues of INR 490 million in the previous financial year and expects to close the current year with revenues in the range of INR 700 million to INR 750 million. At the group level, the company is targeting revenues of around USD 100 million over the next three to four years.

The Sriperumbudur facility spans around 45,000 square feet and has been developed on land already owned by the company in the industrial corridor, where it holds approximately 3.5 acres.

The expansion follows TASE Global’s acquisition of US-based aerospace manufacturer Joined Alloys in October 2025 for INR 1.06 billion. The acquired company specialises in aerospace manufacturing, special processes, sheet metal fabrication, and product development, and currently contributes around USD 45 million in annual revenue to the group. Revenue from the newly inaugurated Sriperumbudur unit is expected to be generated entirely from European customers, while demand from the United States market will continue to be served through the group’s US subsidiary.

Trusted Aerospace Engineering operates manufacturing facilities in India and supplies precision-engineered components to aerospace, industrial, medical, and emerging semiconductor equipment markets, with a customer base spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.
