TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Italy-based ALA Group to collaborate on opportunities in India’s aerospace and defence supply chain market, estimated at approximately USD 28 billion. The agreement, announced on 16 February 2026, establishes a strategic framework to jointly pursue opportunities, initially in India with potential to evaluate other geographies over time.

The collaboration will focus on defence offset programmes and integrated supply chain services across both production and aftermarket lifecycles for aerospace and defence programmes. The scope includes production support, spare parts distribution, inventory optimisation, defence-grade logistics solutions, logistics engineering, and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support services.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited said its aerospace, defence and utilities operations currently generate approximately USD 140 million in annual revenues, largely anchored in defence and utility programmes in the United Kingdom. ALA Group, which reported revenues of USD 345 million in 2024, will contribute its aerospace and defence domain expertise, technology platforms, and relationships with international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and operators across Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom.

“This collaboration with ALA Group reflects our long-term strategy of building globally relevant capabilities in complex and regulated sectors. By combining TVS Supply Chain Solutions’ scale, digital platforms, and strong presence in India with ALA’s aerospace and defence domain expertise, we are positioning the company to participate meaningfully in the evolving global aerospace and defence supply chain ecosystem,” said R. Dinesh, Executive Chairman, TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

“India’s aerospace and defence sectors are at a clear inflection point, driven by indigenisation and global supply chain realignment. This MoU brings together our proven defence supply chain experience, including in the UK, with ALA’s global aerospace expertise to build a credible and compliant platform for defence offset and aerospace programmes in India, with potential to evaluate opportunities in other international markets,” said Ravi Viswanathan, Managing Director, TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions stated that its defence and utilities operations account for over 30 percent of its United Kingdom business. The company manages approximately 250,000 NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) and fulfils around 2.5 million defence demands annually through a global supplier base of over 5,000 vendors, supporting land, sea and air platforms.

ALA Group has more than 35 years of experience as an aerospace and defence supply chain integrator. The company manages over 200,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) and works with more than 1,500 suppliers worldwide, operating commercial offices and logistics facilities across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
