JSW Green Mobility has been allotted 636 acres of land in AURIC City’s Bidkin node, Maharashtra, where the company plans to set up a manufacturing unit. The Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) issued the land allotment certificate online.

The company intends to use 546 acres of the allocated land for electric car production, while 90 acres will be reserved for manufacturing commercial vehicles. Production is expected to begin within 12 to 18 months.

The project involves an investment of approximately ₹27,200 crore, with the potential to generate 5,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect jobs, according to the company.

This initiative marks a significant step in JSW Green Mobility’s expansion into the electric vehicle sector.
