HaveUs AeroTech India has opened a new 70,000-square-foot engineering warehouse near Bengaluru International Airport in Devanahalli. The facility is designed to store various aircraft spares, including engines, radomes, avionics, hydraulics, and mechanical components essential for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.
Located about six kilometers from the airport, the warehouse operates 24/7 and aims to enhance turnaround times for airlines by offering around-the-clock logistics support. Air suspension trucks will transport critical parts, such as engines and radomes, between the airport and the facility, helping airlines meet immediate repair needs.
The warehouse is expected to store equipment worth millions of dollars, with components maintained under controlled environmental conditions to preserve their longevity. According to HaveUs AeroTech’s Technical Director HR Jagannath, maintaining temperature and humidity levels is crucial for ensuring the lifespan of sensitive aircraft parts, especially given India’s climate.
Bengaluru was chosen as the location due to its growing prominence as an aviation and aerospace hub, as well as its extensive domestic and international connectivity. The city currently serves 72 domestic and 28 international destinations, numbers projected to rise in the coming months.
Further expansion of HaveUs AeroTech’s warehouse capacity is planned in other major cities, including Delhi and Mumbai, with an additional 80,000 square feet of space targeted. This growth strategy aligns with increasing supply chain demands within India.
