Kineco Aerospace & Defense has commenced the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Goa, marking the start of construction on a 30,000-square-foot unit dedicated to producing primary aerostructures and complex assemblies. The Bhoomipujan, or groundbreaking ceremony, took place at Plot No. 61-B, adjacent to the existing facility.

The new facility, designed as a three-story building, is scheduled for completion within 11 months. Once operational, it is expected to support Kineco’s Aerospace and Defense division’s growth, enabling the company to scale up production capabilities within the aerostructures segment.

In alignment with sustainability initiatives, Kineco has incorporated a rooftop solar PV project into the facility design. The system is projected to help reduce carbon emissions, with estimated environmental benefits equivalent to the impact of planting approximately 500 trees per month.

According to an update issued by Kineco, the expansion represents a strategic step in positioning the company to serve both domestic and international aerospace markets.
