Tata AutoComp Systems Limited showcased its latest automotive component technologies and localisation initiatives at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The event featured the company’s advancements in electric vehicle (EV) components, including lithium-ion battery packs, battery management systems, EV chargers, e-compressors, and integrated drivetrain solutions for both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

The company announced its efforts to localise over 80% of its battery thermal management systems and other critical EV components, aligning with the “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives. Additionally, Tata AutoComp has successfully localised dual-clutch transmission technology and continues to invest in research and development to enhance its domestic and export capabilities.

The company also highlighted its entry into the railway sector by contributing to the development of components for the Vande Bharat initiative. This diversification complements its automotive focus and underscores its commitment to broadening its manufacturing and technological capabilities.

At the expo, Tata AutoComp presented its strengths across 18 business units, including nine joint ventures with global automotive component manufacturers. The company emphasized its long-term goal of providing sustainable and innovative solutions to support India’s mobility transition.

Chairman Arvind Goel noted the automotive industry’s ongoing shift toward electrification, hybridisation, and software-driven vehicles. He stated that Tata AutoComp aims to capitalize on these trends through localisation, innovation, and collaboration to enhance India’s manufacturing sector and export potential.

Tata AutoComp also stressed its focus on workforce development through training programs aimed at equipping employees with skills for the evolving industry.

Marking three decades in operation, Tata AutoComp serves multiple segments, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two- and three-wheelers, tractors, and industrial applications. The company continues to align its efforts with government policies like FAME-III and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes to support the growth of India’s automotive sector.
