Tata Advanced Systems has delivered its 300th aircraft fuselage for Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. in March 2025. The milestone is part of the ongoing production program for the Pilatus PC-12, a single-engine turboprop aircraft used globally for civilian and utility operations.
The Pilatus PC-12 project is based on a long-term manufacturing agreement between Tata Advanced Systems and Pilatus, signed in 2016. Under this agreement, Tata Advanced Systems is responsible for the complete assembly of the fuselage, including structural work, wiring, and systems integration. The assembled fuselages are then shipped to Pilatus’ final assembly line in Switzerland.
Production takes place at Tata’s aerospace facility in Hyderabad, which supports a range of aerostructure manufacturing activities for international original equipment manufacturers. The facility is equipped for precision engineering and complex integration tasks, enabling the delivery of fully assembled fuselage units for the PC-12 program.
The PC-12 aircraft is used in multiple roles, including passenger transport, cargo, medical evacuation, and special missions. According to publicly available information from Pilatus, over 2,000 PC-12 aircraft have been delivered worldwide.
Tata Advanced Systems reached the 100th delivery milestone in 2019 and has since scaled up production, maintaining a steady supply chain to support Pilatus’ global demand. The 300th fuselage delivery reflects close to a decade of collaboration between the two companies in the aerospace manufacturing sector.
