Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nevomo, a Poland-based technology company, to collaborate on high-speed rail solutions and predictive track maintenance. The partnership aims to develop and implement Magrail technology, linear propulsion systems, and AI-powered diagnostics in India and other markets.

According to the press release issued by Texmaco, the agreement focuses on integrating Nevomo’s Magrail technology with Texmaco’s manufacturing capabilities to enhance railway efficiency and capacity. The collaboration will also involve research and development on autonomous rolling stock, self-propelled wagons, and driverless freight trains.

Sudipta Mukherjee, Managing Director of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd., stated that the partnership seeks to improve efficiency and reduce costs in rail, mining, and logistics sectors by integrating AI-driven diagnostics and automation.

Harj Dhaliwal, Chief Business & Capital Programme Officer at Nevomo, noted that the agreement aligns with broader economic corridor initiatives and aims to modernize rail and port infrastructure while enhancing connectivity.
