BENZ Packaging has initiated a Rs 150 crore investment over five years to expand its production capacity and modernise operations. As part of this effort, the company has established a 90,000-square-foot facility in Jhajjar, Haryana, and is expanding its presence internationally, including in Vietnam.

The Jhajjar facility includes a fully automated corrugation unit, new extrusion and printing machinery, and capabilities for manufacturing hardwood boxes and pallets. Additionally, the company has expanded its Chennai plant from 7,000 to 25,000 square feet, doubling its workforce to 70 skilled workers to enhance production for sectors such as automotive, steel, defence, and food preservation.

As part of its global expansion strategy, BENZ Packaging is also investing in Vietnam, with plans to set up manufacturing facilities to strengthen its supply chain and serve regional markets. The company aims to implement advanced production technologies across its locations to ensure consistency in quality and efficiency.

The investment will also support sustainability initiatives within production processes, and the company is integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimise efficiency, improve quality control, and enhance customer service.

Chaitanya Chopra, Director of BENZ Packaging, stated that the investment aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance its role in industrial and export packaging.
