Danfoss Power Solutions has announced an investment of ₹1,000 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune. The seven-acre greenfield plant will expand the company’s production capacity for pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.
Construction of the facility is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026, with operations beginning soon after. The Talegaon campus will be the company’s seventh manufacturing site in India, joining existing facilities in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two other locations in Pune.
According to the company, the new plant will support increased production, introduce new product lines, and facilitate research and development collaboration with local customers. Danfoss has also stated that the facility aligns with its global sustainability goals, including a commitment to decarbonising operations by 2030.
Daniel Winter, President of Danfoss Power Solutions, stated that the investment aims to enhance the company’s production capabilities in India. Torben Christensen, Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Global Services, noted that the new facility is part of the company’s broader expansion strategy in the country.
