Dinex has announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Pune, India, as part of its strategy to expand independent operations in the region. The company will phase out its existing joint venture and transition to a wholly owned manufacturing presence.

According to Evangelos Georgiadis, CEO / Head of OEM, Dinex Group, the investment in the Pune facility will increase production capacity and align with upcoming emission regulations, including BS7, CEV V, and Trem V. The new plant will cover 50,000 square meters and integrate support from Dinex’s global research and development centers.

The transition of the joint venture will occur over the coming months, with Dinex assuming existing investments. The company stated that the Pune facility will contribute to its long-term business strategy in India and support the local demand for emission control technologies.
