Saint-Gobain has inaugurated a new plaster manufacturing facility in Jhagadia, India. The plant, developed by Saint-Gobain Formula and Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd’s Gyproc Business, will expand the company’s product portfolio in the region.

The facility will manufacture Formula-branded industrial plasters and Gyproc-branded building plasters, complementing its existing plasterboard operations in India. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian construction materials sector with this addition.

According to Saint-Gobain, the project reflects collaboration between its global and local teams. The plant’s operational details, including production capacity and investment figures, were not disclosed in the announcement.
