Technoventor Innovations Private Limited has set up its 84th makerspace at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu. The new facility, ProtoSpace, is an innovation and prototyping lab designed for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs.
ProtoSpace was inaugurated by Sharad Kumar Saraf, Chairman of the Board of Governors at IIT Jammu, with leadership from Ankit Dubey, Professor-in-Charge, and Md. Israil, Lab In-Charge. The facility is equipped with 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, 3D scanners, and electronics workstations, providing advanced prototyping tools for hands-on learning and research.
Technoventor Innovations has established similar facilities in other institutions, focusing on providing access to modern manufacturing and prototyping resources.
