KPIT Technologies has collaborated with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to offer specialized M.Tech programs for its employees. The initiative is designed to enhance workforce skills in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital and image processing, with courses delivered fully online.

According to KPIT, the programs were developed in consultation with faculty and industry professionals to align with evolving demands in the automotive and mobility sectors. Employees with a B.Tech degree and at least two years of experience at KPIT are eligible to apply. The first batch has already commenced, and the program will be offered annually.

Sachin Tikekar, President and Joint Managing Director of KPIT, stated that the collaboration aims to equip employees with expertise needed to support industry transformation. Andrew Thangaraj, Chair of the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education at IIT Madras, said the partnership provides professionals with flexible learning opportunities in key technology domains.

The initiative is part of KPIT’s broader effort to integrate specialized education with its business objectives, facilitating internal job rotations based on acquired skills.
