DST-CHEMICALS Group has officially opened an expanded facility in Bengaluru to cater to the increasing demand for its industrial cleaners and degreasers. The company, which has been operating in India since 2011, manufactures a range of products designed to optimize cleaning processes for heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and specialized materials. The new facility will house production, administration, technical analysis, and sales operations, further strengthening the company’s presence in the region.
DST-CHEMICALS India serves several major customers, including Mahindra and Mahindra, Volvo Eicher Commercial, Royal Enfield, Hero MotoCorp, ZF Wind Coimbatore, Varroc Engineering, Wipro (Hydraulic Division), and the Sona Group. The company offers a portfolio of 40 water-based industrial degreasers, capable of cleaning a variety of materials including aluminium, brass, copper, zinc, steel, cast iron, and stainless steel.
In the financial year ending March 31, 2022, DST-CHEMICALS India generated a revenue of INR 8.57 crore. Its parent company, DST-Chemicals A/S, based in Kolding, Denmark, holds a 98 percent equity interest in DST-CHEMICALS India. The Indian subsidiary reported a substantial increase in earnings, posting DKK 940,800 for the year 2023-2024, compared to DKK 438,000 for 2022-2023.
The new Bengaluru facility is part of DST-CHEMICALS’ ongoing strategy to expand its operations and improve customer service in India. According to the company’s latest annual report, its Indian subsidiary has been among the top performers, reflecting its growing market share and the success of its localized operations. The new facility is expected to further bolster the company’s production capabilities and customer support infrastructure across India.
