ZF Steering Gear (India) Limited has commissioned a new cast iron vane pump assembly line along with an end-of-line testing system at its manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The new facility incorporates error-proofing technology designed to enhance operational processes.
According to information released by the company, the new assembly line is part of its ongoing initiatives in manufacturing for the commercial vehicle industry. The update supports the company’s broader activities in automotive component production, which accounted for INR 354.05 million in segment revenue for the nine months ended December 31, 2024.
In a statement, Dmitry Bernadiner, President and CEO, said, “This modern facility features cutting-edge error-proofing technology.”
Separately, ZF Steering Gear reported unaudited standalone revenue from operations of INR 356.23 million for the nine months ended December 31, 2024. Profit before tax for the same period stood at INR 35.46 million. Capital employed in the automotive component segment was recorded at INR 218.29 million as of December 31, 2024.
