Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has received additional orders valued at INR 5.85 billion since its previous announcement on 5 June 2025. The company stated that the new contracts cover fire control and sighting systems for missiles, communication equipment, jammers, spares, and related services.
This latest influx of orders adds to BEL’s recent business momentum. On 5 June 2025, BEL disclosed orders worth INR 23.23 billion from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) for the supply of base and depot spares for missile systems to be deployed on Indian Naval ships. Earlier in June, BEL also secured orders totalling INR 5.37 billion for communication equipment, advanced composite communication systems for ships, jammers, software, simulator upgrades, spares, test rigs, and services.
BEL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Electronics on 6 June 2025 to develop domestic electronics and semiconductor solutions. The collaboration will focus on opportunities in semiconductor fabrication (Fab), outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT), and design services.
