Fictiv, a manufacturing and supply chain company, has announced the launch of its Large Part CNC Machining Services, expanding its manufacturing capabilities to produce custom CNC parts up to 34 feet (10,500 mm) in length. The service offers lead times starting at 10 days for select parts and supports a range of processes, including CNC milling, turning, jig boring, laser cladding, honing, grinding, and heat treatment.
The company’s facilities are equipped with hoists, robotic tending, pallet systems, gantry-style coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and cranes with up to 60-ton overhead capacity. Supported materials include aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, carbon steel, copper, ABS, and Delrin. According to Fictiv, the service provides tolerances as tight as 0.007 inches, with inspection capabilities including gantry CMM, 3D scanning, and non-destructive testing.
According to the company, the large-part CNC services address increasing demand from industries such as aerospace, robotics, heavy equipment, energy generation, and climate technology. Industry applications for these components include structural aerospace parts, robotic frames and tooling, heavy equipment housings, wind turbine hubs, and subsea energy infrastructure.
“Our new large-format CNC capabilities unlock an entirely new category of parts for our customers. This allows engineers to move faster, build bigger, and manufacture with confidence—knowing every part meets exacting specifications,” stated Dave Evans, Co-Founder and CEO at Fictiv.
“With demand rising in our industry, we needed a partner that could handle large-scale precision parts without slowing us down. Fictiv’s expanded CNC capabilities deliver the scale, speed, and flexibility we rely on to stay competitive in a fast-moving market,” said Matt Hanks, CEO at Velentium Medical.
Fictiv operates manufacturing centers in the United States, Mexico, India, and China. Its services include design guidance, supplier selection, rapid prototyping, strategic sourcing, manufacturing planning, production, assembly, quality assurance, and logistics. The company reports having delivered over 35 million commercial and prototype parts across industries.
Fictiv established its India-based headquarters in Bengaluru in 2023, following an initial launch in Pune. The India operations serve as the company’s third manufacturing hub, in addition to its facilities in the United States and China. The Bengaluru headquarters supports manufacturing engineers, logistics coordinators, supplier quality engineers, and strategic sourcing managers to strengthen Fictiv’s global manufacturing network.
