H&H Aluminium, a manufacturer of solar panel frames, has inaugurated a new solar panel frame manufacturing plant in Rajkot, Gujarat, with an investment of INR 1.5 billion. The facility has an annual production capacity of 24,000 metric tons and is designed to support up to 6 gigawatts (GW) of solar power installations.

Spanning 28,000 square feet, the plant is expected to create employment for over 300 people. Trial production began in June 2025, with commercial production scheduled to commence within a month. At full capacity, the company estimates annual revenue between INR 7 billion and INR 7.5 billion.

The facility was inaugurated by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil. According to the company, aluminium for the unit will be sourced from domestic suppliers, while machinery for the production line has been imported from China.

H&H Aluminium Director Uttam Patel stated that the Indian government’s imposition of a 14 percent anti-dumping duty on imported anodised aluminium solar panel frames—ranging from USD 403 to USD 577 per metric ton—had improved the market for domestic manufacturers. He noted that two major reasons affecting indigenous production were pricing and quality, and added that the anti-dumping duty would support the growth of domestic companies in the solar power and allied sectors.

Patel also said the company was currently focused on meeting domestic demand but intended to explore export opportunities. He explained that given India’s targets for 2030, there was substantial demand within the country. He added that the company had a first-mover advantage, as there were no other domestic players in this niche, and that after meeting India’s demand, H&H Aluminium would consider exporting to Europe and America.

H&H Aluminium is an Indian manufacturer specialising in solar panel frames. The company focuses on supporting renewable energy infrastructure through aluminium-based products.
