ABB Smart Buildings, a company that delivers solutions in energy distribution, building automation, and sustainable infrastructure, has inaugurated a new semi-automated Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) production line at its India facility. The launch took place during a leadership visit in the last week of June 2025 by Andrea Menti, Business Line Leader for Energy Distribution, and Emanuela Bruschi, Business Line HR Leader for Energy Distribution.
The new production line is designed to enhance ABB’s manufacturing capacity to support both domestic and international markets. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its operations and output in India.
During their visit, Menti and Bruschi participated in town hall sessions with employees, sharing updates on strategic initiatives and engaging with internal teams, including the India leadership and sales and marketing teams. These interactions were aimed at aligning on business priorities and identifying future growth opportunities.
As part of ABB’s sustainability initiatives, the visiting leaders also took part in a tree-planting activity at the facility.
