Sotefin Bharat, the Indian subsidiary of the Swiss automated parking systems company Sotefin SA, has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Bagnan, Howrah district, West Bengal. The facility represents an investment of approximately INR 400 million and is expected to create more than 100 jobs once fully operational.
The plant is designed to support the production of equipment for over 10,000 automated car parks annually, equivalent to approximately 25 projects per year, said Managing Director and CEO Arup Choudhuri. The company stated that it exports parking systems to the USA and Dubai.
The inauguration was attended by Swiss Ambassador to India Maya Jaoudhari Tissafi and senior company officials.
Sotefin Bharat is a subsidiary of Sotefin SA, which specializes in automated car parking systems. The company focuses on delivering mechanized solutions for urban infrastructure, operating in both domestic and international markets.
