Monolithisch India, a manufacturer of refractory materials for induction furnaces, has expanded its installed production capacity from 132,000 TPA to 156,000 TPA, effective 15 July 2025. This 18 percent increase is part of a phased growth strategy to meet rising demand in the iron and steel sector.

The company plans to further scale capacity to 215,000 TPA by 15 September and 250,000 TPA by 31 December 2025, supporting both its core and premium SGB‑Limited refractory materials. With its subsidiary Metalurgica India Private Limited, Monolithisch aims for a long-term capacity of 574,000 TPA.

Monolithisch expects the added capacity to ensure timely deliveries, improved performance, and consistent quality across domestic and international markets.

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Purulia, West Bengal, Monolithisch manufactures premixed ramming mass and other unshaped refractory materials for induction furnaces in the secondary steel industry. Its main plant is strategically located with access to key steel hubs across eastern and central India.

Listed on the NSE SME platform on 19 June 2025, the company supports over 80 percent of India’s integrated steel plants, primarily in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha. Its client base grew from 43 in 2023 to 61 by mid‑2025.
