Investment & Precision Castings Limited (I&PCL) has received a contract from PLR Systems Private Limited for the supply of precision investment casting components intended for defence applications. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

PLR Systems is a joint venture between the Adani Group and Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), engaged in the manufacture of small arms and related equipment. Its product range includes the TAVOR and X95 assault rifles, the GALIL sniper rifle, the NEGEV light machine gun, and the UZI submachine gun, which are used by the Indian Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces. The components are intended for these products.
