Jindal (India) Ltd has announced an investment of INR 1 billion to enter the steel section pipes and tubes segment. The company plans to establish a monthly production capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes at its manufacturing facility in West Bengal. The projected output is expected to generate sales revenue of INR 3.15 billion in the financial year 2025–26, according to a company statement.

This initiative is part of a broader expansion strategy. In September 2024, Jindal (India) Ltd announced a capital expenditure of INR 15 billion to increase its annual production capacity from 1 million to 1.6 million metric tonnes. This expansion focused on coated flat products, pipes, and crash barriers, with completion expected by the financial year 2025–26.
