French company Satys Electric, a manufacturer of electrical harness assemblies, electromechanical subassemblies, and electrical cabinets for aerospace and industrial sectors, inaugurated its new facility at the HiTech Defense and Aerospace Park in Devanahalli, Bangalore, with an investment of approximately USD 1 million. The factory houses nine production lines and currently employs 75 people.

Located at Plot No. 90, KIADB Industrial Area, Mahadevakodigehalli, the plant is situated within the aerospace and defence Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The facility was formally inaugurated by Marc Lamy, Consul General of France in Bangalore, in the presence of Satys Electric’s leadership team from France.

Satys Electric India Private Limited, incorporated in January 2022, is the Indian subsidiary of the Satys Electric Group. The Bangalore unit manufactures electrical wiring harness assemblies and related components for use in aerospace, railways, medical equipment, and industrial machinery. The facility supports both high-mix and medium-volume production for industrial clients operating in high-reliability sectors.

Satys Electric was formed through a spin-off in 2020 led by the company’s management in partnership with Capital Croissance, Bpifrance, and Carvest funds. The group is headquartered in Orgelet, France (Jura), and employs 900 people across five countries: France, Thailand, China, India, and the United States. In 2022, the company acquired General Manufacturing company based in the United States and it reported a post-acquisition turnover of EUR 65 million.

The company provides customized electrical solutions and supplies components to major clients in the energy, construction equipment, medical, railway, and aerospace sectors.

Consul General Marc Lamy also visited the Safran Hal Aircraft Engines plant and Dynamatic in Bangalore.

The Bangalore facility expands Satys Electric’s global production network and aims to enhance its responsiveness to customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
