Simplex Castings Ltd. has secured an order valued at INR 223.7 million from Bhilai Engineering Corporation Limited. The contract covers the supply of over 500 heavy fabricated assemblies, including door bodies, frames, and flash plates.
The company’s existing manufacturing infrastructure includes a cast iron foundry, steel and alloy foundry, heavy engineering and fabrication plant, and a central machine shop equipped with CNC machinery. The facilities also include a large stress-relieving furnace, high-precision CNC boring machines, and in-house testing units.
Simplex Castings also operates an in-house EPC division, enabling it to deliver turnkey projects from design to manufacturing and assembly. Its design team employs modern computer-aided tools to offer customized engineering solutions.
The company’s manufacturing plants are located in Bhilai and Tedesara, Chhattisgarh, providing access to major industrial and mineral hubs. Simplex Castings serves industries such as steel, power generation, railways, mining, cement, defence, and shipbuilding.
