FORVIA Faurecia Clean Mobility India has commissioned a new manufacturing plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, spanning over 3,500 square metres. The facility supports Hyundai-Kia programmes using a Just-in-Time (JIT) production model and reportedly began production 28 days after its inauguration.
Located close to Kia Motors’ supplier park, the plant is designed to serve customer requirements through locally manufactured emission control and clean mobility components. According to the company, the facility is part of its broader expansion strategy in India and aligns with its localisation efforts in the region.
The Anantapur facility adds to Faurecia’s operations in India, which include manufacturing emission control technologies, interior systems, and seating. The company collaborates with the Anand Group and operates as part of the global FORVIA Group.
Faurecia Clean Mobility India focuses on the design and production of automotive components for emission control and clean mobility. It partners with both domestic and international stakeholders and supplies components to automotive OEMs across India.
