L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has launched PLxAI, a proprietary Generative AI-based framework designed to accelerate the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). The framework is intended for use across sectors including mobility, sustainability and technology, and supports processes from concept design to aftermarket services.

PLxAI combines Generative AI and conventional AI to build scalable and reusable solutions across PDLC stages. It incorporates features such as capturing organisational and experiential knowledge to deliver context-aware insights. The framework also integrates smart prompting and contextual intelligence to improve product engineering.

So far, LTTS has deployed more than 36 use cases of PLxAI across various stages of the product life cycle, with a further 35 use cases in the design phase. Examples include innovation assistants for competitive benchmarking, design assistants for generating specifications and diagrams, automated design validation planning, customisable failure mode analysis, digital twin integration, and agentic workflows for automating multi-step engineering tasks.

“This is a proud milestone for Team LTTS. The development of PLxAI by our in-house AI experts is a testimony to LTTS’ engineering and technology capabilities. It reaffirms our deep commitment toward driving global client success across Mobility, Sustainability and Tech leveraging the power of AI and Gen-AI based offerings. The enthusiasm from our global clients has been remarkable, with deployments already underway across multiple domains,” said Alind Saxena, President & Executive Director – Mobility & Tech at LTTS.
