Stellantis India & Asia Pacific (Stellantis IAP) has inaugurated a new Vehicle Processing Centre (VPC) within its Tiruvallur plant, aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer service. The After Sales (AFS) team took over VPC operations in 2023 and has maintained zero compliance gaps while expanding fitment capabilities across all Citroën models.

The facility is designed to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery processes. The Tiruvallur plant forms part of Stellantis’ manufacturing network in India, which includes three plants alongside multiple R&D and ICT centres. The plant produces Citroën and Jeep vehicles and has begun exporting Citroën electric vehicles to markets including Southeast Asia.

Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 plan focuses on localisation and operational excellence to drive growth and innovation in the region. Alongside the VPC, Stellantis has launched new warranty programmes and opened multi-brand service centres as part of its aftersales expansion.

According to the company, these initiatives are part of ongoing investments positioning India as a strategic market and global sourcing hub.

Stellantis IAP operates manufacturing facilities and support centres in India, producing and exporting vehicles under brands including Citroën and Jeep. The company is pursuing localisation and expansion strategies aligned with its Dare Forward 2030 vision.
