Swaraj Tractors, a division of the Mahindra Group, has announced the roll-out of its 2.5 millionth tractor from its manufacturing facility in Mohali, Punjab. The milestone comes three years after the company reached the 2 million production mark in 2022.

Swaraj Tractors, established in 1974, launched its first model, the Swaraj 724, in the 20–25 HP category. The company achieved its 500,000 production milestone in 2002 and has since expanded its output fivefold to reach the current level of 2.5 million units.

The company’s portfolio includes models such as the Swaraj 855, 735, 744, 960, 742, 963, Swaraj Target and the recently launched Naya Swaraj range. The tractors are offered across horsepower segments from 11.2 kW (15 HP) to 49.2 kW (65 HP).

Swaraj Tractors is India’s second largest tractor brand by volume. Headquartered in Punjab, the company manufactures tractors and mechanisation solutions for farming and horticulture.
