Tata AutoComp Systems has signed a conditional agreement, through its UK-based subsidiary Artifex Interior Systems Limited, to acquire 100 percent of the share capital of IAC Group (Slovakia). The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction. Completion is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Tata AutoComp Systems was advised on this acquisition by US-based law firm Baker MacKenzie.

IAC Slovakia reported revenues of USD 190 million in FY24 and operates a manufacturing facility in Lozorno that produces automotive interior and exterior components, including door and trim systems, pillars, instrument panels, cockpits and consoles. The company supplies global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) including Jaguar Land Rover and Volkswagen and employs around 800 employees.

“The acquisition of IAC Slovakia will mark a significant milestone in Tata AutoComp’s global growth journey. Following our earlier acquisition of Artifex, this step strengthens our European presence and reflects our commitment to serving global OEMs more effectively,” said Arvind Goel, Vice-Chairman, Tata AutoComp.

“We are excited to welcome IAC Slovakia into the Artifex family. This expansion is a pivotal step in our journey to become the valued partner of choice. It strengthens our expertise in automotive interior systems, expands our capabilities, and opens the door to new partnerships and broader markets. I’m excited about what we’ll achieve together,” said Alan Fennelly, Chief Executive Officer, Artifex.

Tata AutoComp Systems — part of the Tata Group — supplies automotive components and systems to vehicle manufacturers in India and overseas. The company operates multiple business lines, including interior and exterior products, composites, engineering and supply-chain services.

Tata AutoComp earlier acquired a majority stake in Artifex Interior Systems Ltd (reported as an 80 percent stake in March 2025), which expands its existing European footprint and provides a channel for the IAC Slovakia transaction.
