TUV India’s Advanced Chemical and Material Testing (ACMT) Laboratory, located in Noida, has been approved by Maruti Suzuki India Limited to perform testing for volatile organic compounds (VOC), odour and substances of concern (SOC). TUV India said the approval followed audits and technical evaluations conducted by Maruti Suzuki.
The ACMT Lab is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under ISO/IEC 17025 standards, according to TUV India’s public announcements; the company’s communications indicate the accreditation was granted on 4 June 2024. For independent verification, request the lab’s NABL certificate number or consult NABL’s accredited-laboratory search.
TUV India states the ACMT facility can perform a range of chemical and regulatory analyses, including asbestos testing, end-of-life-vehicle (ELV) testing, Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) analysis, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) analysis, persistent organic pollutants (POPs) analysis, Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) compliance checks, and tests related to REACH and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). For publication, cite the lab’s formal scope-of-accreditation (NABL scope) or the lab’s test-list for precise test-method coverage.
