TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the ‘TVS Indus’ Design Honours, a national annual competition aimed at nurturing design talent focused on future mobility solutions in India. The initiative, aligned with India’s Make in India and Design in India agendas, encourages Indian residents—including students, young professionals and design enthusiasts—to submit forward-thinking concepts rooted in cultural and environmental contexts.
The 2025 edition invites entries based on four Indian regions—Thar, Sahyadri, Kutch and Mumbai—covering mobility formats like monowheel, two‑wheeler and three‑wheeler vehicles that integrate social, environmental and cultural relevance.
Registrations opened on August 4, with submissions accepted until 6 October 2025, via the official TVS Indus website. Participation is free and strictly individual-based, accessible to people from any educational background.
An expert jury from the design and mobility sectors will evaluate entries based on originality, contextual relevance, user-centricity, and feasibility. The top three winners will receive cash prizes up to INR 500,000. Additional recognition will come in the form of a Viewers’ Choice award, and standout participants may be offered internship opportunities with the TVS Design Team.
“Design is the bridge between imagination and impact. With TVS Indus Design Honours, we are creating a platform where the next generation of designers, thinkers and creators can reimagine Indian mobility as an original, culturally rooted expression of who we are and where we’re headed,” stated Amit Rajwade, Vice President – Design, TVS Motor Company.
