ARaymond India has commenced work on a new manufacturing plant in Talegaon, with the foundation stone laid at a ceremony attended by senior company officials. The facility will cover 38,650 square metres and is aimed at expanding the company’s capacity to serve the Indian market.
The event was led by Emmanuel Le Flem, Executive President of ARaymond Network, and Manish Padharia, Managing Director of ARaymond India. As part of the site development, 137 trees were transplanted to align with the company’s sustainability initiatives.
ARaymond is a family-owned business founded in 1865 in France. The company develops fastening and assembly solutions for sectors including automotive, energy, agriculture, healthcare and construction. It operates production sites and business offices across multiple regions worldwide.
ARaymond India has been operating in the country since 2007, with manufacturing activities centred in Pune and Chennai. The company runs a production plant in Pune, supported by regional offices near Delhi and Chennai. The Pune facility is equipped with a full quality testing laboratory and injection moulding capabilities, producing around 1,000 different parts for OEMs every month.
The company designs and manufactures plastic and metal fastening solutions as well as Quick Connectors used in fuel, air conditioning, and cooling systems. In addition to the Pune operations, ARaymond India has inaugurated a manufacturing plant in Chennai that focuses on advanced fluid line assembly solutions to strengthen supply reliability for customers in southern India.
Its operations follow a lean manufacturing philosophy and are supported by a structured quality management system. ARaymond India provides a full-service offering that covers sales, product development, production, and logistics, with an emphasis on reducing assembly time, improving quality, and achieving cost efficiencies for customers.
