MBT Construction Chemicals has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Taloja, Navi Mumbai. The plant has an annual production capacity of 25,000 metric tons in a single shift and a storage capacity of 300 tons. Spread across 4,000 square metres, it will produce a range of construction chemicals including admixtures, waterproofing solutions, grouts, flooring systems, repair mortars and protective coatings.
The facility includes automated systems and a 200 TR cooling tower to improve energy efficiency and process stability. It also houses a Research & Development Centre equipped with laboratories and testing infrastructure, which will focus on developing solutions suited to local and regional requirements.
