Astra Microwave Products Limited has announced the receipt of an order valued at INR 1.24 billion for the supply of modules, cable assemblies and antenna for software defined radios (SDR). The order was placed by Astra Rafael Comsys Private Limited, the company’s joint venture entity. The contract covers delivery obligations scheduled to be completed within nine to twelve months.
According to the company’s filing with the stock exchanges, the order value includes all applicable taxes. The disclosure stated that the transaction qualifies as a related party arrangement owing to the joint venture relationship, and that it has been executed on an arm’s-length basis.
The company noted in the annexed details that Astra Rafael Comsys is a domestic entity, and the contract pertains specifically to the supply of modules, cable assemblies and antenna for SDR systems.
Astra Microwave Products Limited is engaged in the design and manufacture of radio-frequency and microwave subsystems used in defence, space and homeland security applications.
