Eberspächer Group has inaugurated a new production site in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for its Climate Control Systems & Solutions Business Unit. The facility will manufacture thermal management systems for off-highway vehicles serving construction and agricultural machinery markets in India. The development expands the company’s localised manufacturing footprint and supports its strategy to strengthen regional supply capabilities in Asia.

The new site, operated by Eberspächer Climate Control Systems & Solutions India Private Limited is positioned to supply cabin heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) units, battery thermal management systems, integrated thermal solutions for electrified machinery, and cabin pressure and clean-air systems. These products are intended to improve operator safety, comfort and equipment uptime in harsh operating environments.

Localising production near New Delhi enables Eberspächer to serve original equipment manufacturer customers more efficiently by reducing delivery timelines and aligning manufacturing with one of the fastest-growing off-highway equipment markets. India’s role as a global centre for construction and agricultural machinery production supports the potential for the site to function as an export-capable hub for wider Asian demand.

Eberspächer has maintained a presence in India for several years through its bus air-conditioning and thermal management operations. Its core Indian facility is located in the Bengaluru region of Karnataka, where Eberspächer Sütrak Bus Climate Control Systems India operates the company’s long-standing headquarters and manufacturing base for roof-mounted and split air-conditioning units for city buses and coaches. In 2019, the bus AC operations were moved to a larger, approximately 6,000-square-metre plant in Bengaluru, doubling production capacity to about 7,000 systems annually for the Asian market and preparing for the manufacture of electric AC systems for hybrid and electric buses.

The Greater Noida site, registered in early 2025, expands the company’s manufacturing capabilities in India by adding a dedicated focus on off-highway and special-purpose vehicle thermal management. Together, the Bengaluru and Greater Noida facilities anchor the company’s strategy in India, which emphasises support for bus, off-highway and emerging electrified platforms.

Globally, Eberspächer operates across exhaust technology, automotive electronics and thermal management, with approximately eighty locations. For 2024, the Group reported consolidated revenue of about EUR 5.33 billion and net revenue of about EUR 2.73 billion, supported by ongoing investment in new technologies.

Eberspächer Sütrak is described as holding a strong position in the Indian bus air-conditioning market, supplying major domestic bus manufacturers and expanding into systems for electric buses.
