Pavna Industries Limited marked the start of construction for a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, with a groundbreaking ceremony held on 19 January 2026. The project expands the company’s manufacturing presence in southern India and is intended to support closer engagement with automotive original equipment manufacturers in the region.

The Hosur facility forms part of Pavna Industries’ medium-term capacity expansion plans and will initially focus on the supply of critical automotive components. According to a press release issued by Pavna Industries Limited, the first phase of the project involves an investment of INR 500 million, with commercial operations expected to commence later in 2026.

The company stated that the location of the new plant was selected due to Hosur’s proximity to several automotive original equipment manufacturers operating in southern India. The facility is expected to support improved logistics efficiency and faster response times, while contributing additional manufacturing capacity to meet customer requirements.

“We plan to be closer to our customers, drive operational excellence, and reliably meet the evolving needs of the automotive industry,” said Swapnil Jain, Managing Director of Pavna Industries Limited. “Our investment and expansion in Hosur will bolster production capability, strengthen logistics efficiency, and contribute to local economic development.”

The Hosur project adds to Pavna Industries’ existing manufacturing footprint, which includes facilities in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, Aurangabad in Maharashtra, and Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. The company has historically located its plants near customer manufacturing hubs to enable coordination and timely supply.

Pavna Industries manufactures automotive components for multiple vehicle segments, including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. Its product range includes ignition switches, fuel tank caps, latches, auto locks, switches, oil pumps, throttle bodies, fuel cocks, and casting components. The company supplies domestic original equipment manufacturers and exports to several international markets.
