Axiscades Technologies Limited secured a defence contract valued at around INR 1 billion for the supply of radar subsystems under India’s Low-Level Transportable Radar (LLTR) Ashwini programme. The order will be executed by its subsidiary Mistral Solutions Private Limited and will be delivered over a period of two years, providing revenue visibility during the execution period.
The contract involves the supply of signal and data processing units, along with associated spares, for the LLTR Ashwini radar system. The programme is part of India’s indigenous low-level transportable radar development led by the Defence Research and Development Organisation in collaboration with Bharat Electronics Limited.
The company stated that the supplied signal and data processing units are intended for use in low-altitude surveillance operations. These systems are designed to support the detection and tracking of unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, and fighter aircraft operating at low levels. The order includes liquid-cooled units developed to meet operational requirements in high-stress and extreme field conditions.
Axiscades said the contract strengthens its embedded systems business within the defence segment and adds to its order book in radar and defence electronics. The company indicated that deliveries will be spread across the two-year execution timeline, which is expected to provide steady revenue contribution over the period. No additional financial details related to margins or unit volumes were disclosed.
“We plan to support the LLTR Ashwini programme by delivering critical embedded technologies that meet the operational requirements of next-generation radar systems,” said C. Manikandan, Chief Executive Officer of Mistral Solutions Private Limited.
The company also noted that the order positions Mistral Solutions to pursue additional opportunities linked to future defence electronics and radar programmes associated with domestic defence agencies and public sector units.
