Atmastco Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) valued at INR 2.35 billion from Steel Authority of India Limited for the installation of a 140 tonnes per hour (TPH) Walking Beam Type Reheating Furnace at the Plate Mill of Bhilai Steel Plant.
According to a press release issued by the company, the total value of the LOI is INR 2.35 billion. The reheating furnace is expected to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and energy performance at the Plate Mill, supporting modernisation and capacity enhancement initiatives at the plant.
Upon execution of the formal contract, Atmastco Limited will commence detailed engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in line with the agreed technical specifications and timelines. The company stated that the order strengthens its order book in core industrial sectors.
