DCX Systems Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary Raneal Advanced Systems Private Limited has expanded its manufacturing capabilities by adding oversized printed circuit board (PCB) assembly capacity at its facility in Bengaluru. The development enables the company to assemble and test large-dimension PCBs used in defence, aerospace, industrial electronics, and advanced power system applications.
The new capability allows the company to handle PCB assemblies of up to 55 inches in length, exceeding conventional board size limitations. The capability supports applications such as mission-critical backplane systems and integrates surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole assembly processes.
The expansion also includes enhanced material handling and board support systems, along with strengthened testing and validation infrastructure for large-format assemblies. The company said the upgrade improves process control for oversized PCB assemblies and allows it to meet growing demand for integrated and high-density electronic assemblies.
The additional capability has been implemented within the company’s existing facility and is intended to optimise workflow and operational efficiency without affecting turnaround time. The company also stated that it has already secured orders valued at INR 200 million for oversized PCB assembly.
“This expansion reflects our ongoing investment in advanced manufacturing capabilities. By adding oversized PCB assembly capacity, we are better positioned to serve evolving customer requirements in mission-critical and high-performance electronics. Further, the company has already secured orders for about Rs. 20.00 Crores for such oversized PCB Assembly,” said H. S. Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of DCX Systems Limited.
DCX Systems Limited manufactures electronic systems and sub-systems, cable and wire harness assemblies, and printed circuit board assemblies for domestic and international customers in the defence and aerospace sectors. Established in 2011, the company operates from a facility in the Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park Special Economic Zone in Bengaluru and provides electronic manufacturing services through its subsidiary Raneal Advanced Systems Private Limited.
