HFCL Limited has entered into a long-term supply agreement with an international customer for the supply of optical fiber cables (OFC) through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary. The contract has a potential value of approximately USD 1.10 billion, equivalent to about INR 101.59 billion, and will be executed through December 2030.

The company said that the agreement covers the supply of high-quality, high-fibre-count optical fiber cables. The arrangement is structured as a five-year supply agreement beginning in calendar year 2026 and continuing through calendar year 2028, with an automatic extension to two additional calendar years, 2029 and 2030.

Under the terms of the agreement, a minimum quantity of multi-million fibre kilometres of optical fiber cables will be supplied in each calendar year. Purchase orders will be released periodically during the contract period based on project-wise and specification-wise requirements.

The filing states that the contract has been awarded by a global multinational corporation and is classified as an international order. The overseas wholly owned subsidiary of HFCL will supply the optical fiber cables according to the customer’s specifications and will also be eligible to supply to the customer’s authorised affiliates and assignees.
