VCL India, a provider of gas valve systems, has inaugurated a new office in Bhubaneswar as part of its expansion into India’s iron, steel, and glass sectors. The company aims to support downstream industries and metal ancillary units by offering spare parts and refurbishment services for gas valves used in smelters.

The new office enhances VCL India’s presence in the country, complementing its headquarters in Gurgaon. Additionally, the company has established a network of partner workshops along India’s east and west coasts to reduce service delays and improve customer responsiveness.

The Bhubaneswar inauguration was attended by Peggy Frantzen, Ambassador of Luxembourg to India; Rajat Dalmia, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in India; Mario Kratz, Chairman of the Board of VCL SA and CEO of SAB Group; and Rainer Zilliken, Managing Director and Global Head of VCL SA. Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) of Odisha, also participated in the event.

VCL India stated that it would offer refurbishment solutions, including potential technical upgrades such as energy-saving features. According to the company, similar solutions have contributed to CO₂ footprint reductions in Europe.
