Avlock International India Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of industrial fastening and sealing systems, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Rabale, Navi Mumbai, as part of its expansion strategy aimed at increasing production capacity and enhancing supply chain reliability. The company stated that the facility is expected to contribute to local employment.
Established in 2014, Avlock India is a joint venture between Indian and South African partners. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company also operates a manufacturing unit in Thane. It manufactures and distributes industrial fastening solutions, metal-to-metal sealing systems, flow control technologies, and architectural hardware.
The new facility is expected to support sectors including automotive, railways, electronics, mining, solar energy, and heavy engineering. According to the company, the expansion aims to enhance manufacturing capacity, improve supply reliability, generate employment, and maintain quality standards.
Avlock India holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and IATF 16949 approval for its automotive sealing products. It also supplies components to Indian Railways.
The company’s portfolio includes over 1,000 products such as blind rivets, lockbolts, sealing plugs, and installation tools. It partners with international brands including SFC Koenig (Switzerland), Honsel (Germany), and Simmonds Marshall. Avlock maintains customer service centres across India and conducts quality checks throughout its production process.
Avlock India serves a wide range of industries within the country and has plans to expand its export footprint.
